[For] one year and eight months, Magic Power worked tirelessly on producing music, and will be releasing their fourth original self-composed album《God of War》on 8/19. Focusing on Mandarin EDM (Electronic Dance Music) to expand their vision, they will reproduce the vibrant nature of futuristic dance music in their album. Because Magic Power's single "Hou/Roar" was chosen as the theme song of Coca Cola's《2015 Future Edition Bottle》event, so even before the album《God of War》was released, 7-11 worked with the music platform KK BOX to happily share the single 〈Hou/Roar〉, as the "Coke Sharing Happiness Song". 〈Hou/Roar〉 was composed by DJ Goo goo, with the lyrics written by main vocalist, Ting ting. The song talks about the story of a weak person, who has kept silent in his oppressive environment, but, after deciding that he's had enough, decides to stand up to defend himself. Fans were given an exclusive preview of the song in May, but after eagerly awaiting the comeback that they thought would be just around the corner, they didn't expect the album to only be officially released in August. So, as some of them couldn't stand the wait for the official MV, they used a segment of the web trailer for the movie《Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes》and paired it with "Hou/Roar" to create their own MV to the song to circulate on the internet. This caused many fans to exclaim, "It fits so well! It's almost like the theme song of the movie!" Who knew that this would create a storm on the internet? MP themselves felt that their fans were really creative as the video managed to bring out the original meaning and story behind the song. MP hopes that in the future, they would be able to work with international studios to meticulously create and design the soundtrack for movies. MP will also be introducing the "Battle Dance", which was inspired by the body languages of apes when they are angered, and will be using this dance to gather ten-thousands of people to dance along with them to the song 〈Hou/Roar〉.
Following the success of the previous album's 「Marksman Dance」that swept across all of Asia, the official MV for 〈Marksman〉 has now accumulated a total of 8.77 million views (now 8.78). Magic Power will officially be releasing their fourth album《God of War》on 8/19. The album《God of War》was specially sent to England to be mixed, having invited Pete Martin, the mixing engineer that the Black Eyed Peas & Sean Combs (P.Diddy) use, for a transnational collaboration that further enhanced the electronic dance music feel of the entire album. The album will be released during the summer break and MP says, "We want our fans to feel that listening to this album is as fun as playing video games or multi-player online games!" Magic Power's new concept is that of "futuristic warriors" with a military uniform style, which matches their tough and explosive electronic dance music style. Thus, in order to create this "Iron Man-Tough Guy" image, their outfits use many futuristic elements, such as metal details, leather, plastic details and feathers etc, that are specially customised for them. But wearing such clothes in the high temperatures of summer means that when MP takes photos or films for an MV, it's like as if they're in a sauna - even if they don't move, the six of them will still sweat profusely. To top it off, in order to get his ideal hair colour for his new hairstyle, DJ Googoo endured the pain on his scalp, consecutively bleaching his hair two times and dying his hair three times to get what he wanted.

Having to face the "hot test" in the scorching summer heat, next up, Magic Power will be having a series of crazy street-invasion-style Album Pre-order Autograph Sessions. MP reminisces their first event five years ago when they released their first album, where they similarly invaded the streets of Northern, Central and Southern Taiwan with their autograph sessions. What started out as a small group of supporters, over time, became the huge crowd that they have now, where fans spill out all over the venue and security has to be employed to maintain order and safety at their events. To thank fans for their love and support, Magic Power will be travelling around Taiwan to hold autograph sessions so that they can thank their fans personally, even requesting that their manager schedule up to ten events for them! Even though it's been one year and eight months since the release of their last album, Magic Power still remembers the promise they made to their Taichung fans and specially arranged for the first stop of their autograph sessions to be held at Taichung. This was done to make up for all the times that they had to delay the starting time of events at Taichung due to the autograph sessions before the Taichung session overrunning.
