守信用的你們也不要忘記你們對爸媽的約定噢!有些紙條實在太可愛太催淚了,我都有認真看的衛生紙都不知道用掉幾張了

You guys kept your promise (to me), but please don't forget your promise to your parents! Some of these letters were so cute & too tear-inducing, I read them all very diligently & have no idea how many pieces of tissue papers (I) used up (along the way)

They're a project group from the 29th batch of students from Tamkang Uuniversity's Mass Communications department. Their group name is "Dream Courier". A few days ago, I received a (Facebook) private message from one of the students, (saying that) this is their graduation project & they want to raise funds via crowdsourcing to give the children in rural areas new shoes. (The link) below (leads to) their fundraising platform.
https://www.flyingv.cc/project/5755

I hope that everyone will go & check out their (Facebook) fan page to take a look at the ideas and plans that they want to convey through their videos, instead of just liking and leaving a comment (under this post). Together, let's support young people who have aspirations & do meaningful things!

《Sending Shoes To Rural Areas Fundraising Plan 3/1-4/20 》
Did you know?
More than 20% of the children in rural areas only (own) one pair of shoes
To them, (having) a new pair of shoes is an extravagant desire
As such, "Dream Courier" has planned out a fundraising project on the fundraising platform Flying V
「Sending Shoes To Rural Areas Fundraising Plan: Giving footprints a warm home」
The footprints (in the logo) represents the trail (made by) the 46 Taoyuan Sanguang Elementary School children as they strive to run (without shoes)
(In the) period from『 3/1-4/20』
As long as you participate in the action of [Buying one, Donating one] shoe = $1500 sponsorship
Which means that a child in need will be able to receive a new pair of shoes!
Through your support, we're looking forward to making these children's wishes come true together
Whether or not you're able to participate in our plans
(I) still really hope that you can help out in this project by promoting & sharing (about it)

Goo #1
(As Goo's post is extremely long, it would take a very long time to translate it word for word. Thus, the translation here isn't word for word, but does contain the gist of his post)

After half a month of liaising with many owners who have lost their little Yorkshire Terriers, Goo has finally found the owner of the puppy his friend found. Goo feels that he's matured much over this period of time and is glad that the puppy will be on its way home soon.

The little Yorkie was quite pitiful-looking when it was first found and as such, Goo immediately brought it to his trusted vet for a check-up. Other than removing the inflamed stitches from its neutering surgery prior to being found, the dog itself is quite healthy.
Goo ended up calling it "Lai Lai (lit. Come Come)" as that was the name the dog responded to the most. At the start, it was difficult having two dogs at home because Lai Lai didn't like other dogs. The two dogs would run around the house trying to mark their terroritories and Mickey would constantly chase Lai Lai around, the latter action causing Mickey to end up being scolded by Goo. As such, Goo went to seek help from a professional dog breeder and learnt that the dogs needed to understand what each other's status in the house was. Thus, Goo had to keep Lai Lai in the cage at the start, although the dog's owner later told him about Lai Lai's separation anxiety disorder, which was what caused Lai Lai to start barking the moment it couldn't see anyone.

(Likewise, Mickey had the same problem at the start when Goo first adopted him, so it wasn't a difficult issue for Goo to solve)
(As for the reason Lai Lai went missing: Because of its separation anxiety disorder, it would constantly bark whenever its owner went to work, thus disturbing the owner's neighbours. As such, it was left at the owner's mother's countryside house, where 8 other dogs also resided. Because the owner's mother gave her dogs lots of freedom, it was during one of the days when the dogs were let out that the Yorkie went missing)

In order to manage having two dogs, Goo would feed and play with Mickey first whenever he came home, before turning his attention to Lai Lai. After a week's training, the two stopped chasing each other and would even play together, which also helped with treating Lai Lai's separation anxiety. He also learned some basic commands like, "stay", "sit", "come in" and "go out". Although Mickey would frequently eat Lailai's food and drink from his water bowl out of jealousy, the two would still get along well. For a period, Goo worried about whether he'd be able to dole out twice as much love to the two dogs if Lai Lai's owner couldn't be found, but realised over the experience that he could take care of Lai Lai too. However, it was at this moment that Lai Lai's owner contacted Goo and Goo found out that the dog's name is actually "Ah Bi". Through their conversations, Goo eventually gave his friend's contact to the dog's owner so that he could gain more knowledge and learn the right concept of taking care of dogs.

Having to go from a mindset of preparing to adopt the dog to one where the dog'll be returned was a complex one for Goo, which was why he decided to share about what happened in the past two weeks. The process of helping the dog to regain its confidence and become good friends with Mickey was one that helped Goo to realise that the amount of love a person is able to give to others is more than we can ever imagine. This love, coupled with patience helped the dog to become a happy one again, so Goo hopes that the owner won't send it away to his mother's house again when Goo returns him.

Over these last few days, as Lai Lai got back his confidence, he'd even playfully fight with Mickey for treats and would accompany Goo as he wrote songs. From staying in a cage, Goo progressively allowed Lai Lai to sleep in his room in a dog house and eventually let him sleep on his bed with Mickey. Little by little, Lai Lai became a part of Goo's family, getting along with all of Goo's family members. After Lai Lai became friends with Mickey, they'd do everything together, including eating, sleeping and playing with Goo. To Goo, doggies are really cute. All they need in their whole life is just one owner who'll love them and they'll love the owner back wholeheartedly like that.

Many people love dogs, which is why they have dogs as pets, but their problem is that they don't know how to train the dog. As such, those who want to own dogs should make sure to read up thoroughly on how to keep dogs, whether via print books, online or asking their experienced friends. One should never lose their temper at the dog nor abandon it, because the onus is on the owner to train it well.
PS. Never get a dog because you think it's cute. A dog is a responsibility that lasts for 10-20 years. It's not merely a toy, so everyone should consider carefully before getting a dog.
The above text was the diary of the substitute owner over the last two weeks
"Bye bye, Lai Lai~  Mickey and I will miss you loads~ Really!
"Don't forget me ^^
"Tonight's the last time we'll say good night and so I can't help but to cry
"Goodnight."
