今日在家自己挑地瓜葉梗，水煮晚餐被媽媽發現覺得驚訝。我覺得很正常阿⋯別怕我吃不飽，我的地瓜葉是外面的三倍份量耶！晚安了水煮之夜。

七十歲,一個應該含飴弄孫的年紀,卻是孤單的住在兩坪大的套房,裡面只有一張床,一些簡單的生活用品跟雜物,幾乎沒有任何的走動空間,妻子在年輕時候就離婚,兒女也二十年沒來看過他,原本今天去探訪周阿公之前,想像他應該是一個沈默寡言,鬱鬱寡歡的老人家,但一見面的時候才發現周阿公非常親切,而且身體還算硬朗,他熱情的跟我們打招呼,說著平常華山志工對他的照顧,還有他中午才剛吃了自助餐,看上去心情還算不錯,我們也答應周阿公下次會再來看他
一個人最幸福的就是擁有一個家和愛你的家人,每當夜深人靜的時候,獨居老人的心裡應該是萬千的寂寞,年關將近,希望每個幸福的你們都可以出一份小小的力量,讓這些獨居老人可以擁有一頓溫暖的年夜飯

At the age of 70 years old, [a person] should be enjoying life with their grandchildren, but [he's] actually staying alone in a 6 square metre wide studio apartment. [There's] only one bed & some basic essentials, with barely any space to move about. [He] divorced his wife when [he] was younger & his children have not visited him in 20 years. Before visiting Grandpa Zhou today, [I] thought he would be a silent & depressed elderly, but when [we] met him, [I] realised that he's very friendly and his body is still quite healthy. He greeted us enthusiastically, and spoke about how [the social workers from] Huashan Social Welfare Foundation have taken care of him as well as the buffet lunch he had in the afternoon. [He] looked pretty happy, and we promised him that we would be back to visit again
The most blissful thing a person can have is to have a family and family members who love you. Every time the night grows still, elderly folks who live alone will probably feel extremely lonely. As the New Year approaches, [I] hope that every single blessed person like you guys will contribute a little to let these elderly folks be able to have a warm reunion dinner
For all of our future birthdays, [I] hope that all [our] MPFamily will save the money [meant to spend on our] presents & use it for charity instead
