I have a good friend who will always make the effort to write a postcard and send it to me locally from the country where he's at, whether or not he's there on vacation or for work purposes.
The content would be about his feelings at that time, or stories of what happened [on the trip], or some words of encouragement.
This is something that I treasure a lot other than my toys.
